Opposites
By Cesar D.

If everything was opposite
Why, less would be more.
The poor will be rich
And the rich will be poor.

Airplanes fly underground
Ships sail up in the sky.
Two will be single
One will be a pair.
The tortoise runs fast
The hare runs slow.
The greenlight means stop
The red light means go.
Opposite
I would be you
And you would be me.

Check This Out!
By Shawn P.

Math is cool, fun for school.
Science and reading back to back.
Our coach makes us run a lap.
Social Studies are our buddies.
Comprehension a bad dimension, old vocabulary
You have to be the best c'mom students get some rest!
I know I have 15 minutes more.
It is so silent I need to roar!

Numbers
By Ria

If I were a set of numbers, I would be the greates thing ever!
If there are calendars, they are there just because of me,
If there is Algebra or math it's there just because of me,
If there is science it's there just becuase of me.
I think numbers are really great.
They are great because if they were not there, we wouldn't be educated or go to school.
Even buying things needs numbers to set the price,
Or even money wouldn't be there is there were no numbers.
I think numbers are GREAT!

If I Were A Fish
By Shaun C.

If I were a fish, it would be great.
I could swim around and around for the rest of my life.
I could just relax and gaze through the water.
I could just look easily at life.
I wish, I were a fish.
It would be the greatest thing ever!

The King of the Wind
By Lauren

A colt is born
Sham, named after the sun
Golden, with one white spot on its heel
The sign of swiftness!
But wait, also born with a sign of evil
His mom died after a few days of his birth
How will he survive?
His faithful, mute horseboy Agba never leaves his side
Agba feeds him camel milk to keep him alive
Sham grows strong and runs fast
Always faster than the other horses
Soon they will go to France
What will await them?
Sham
The King of the Wind
